HTC has launched its next-gen business mobile phone, the HTC Touch Pro. It has the similar style and functionality of the Touch Diamond but has a lot of business related enhancements. It uses HTC’s new TouchFLO 3D interface for accessing various applications in the handset.
For Internet connections, it has HSDPA 7.2 Mbps and wireless connectivity and a customized browser which allows you to navigate a website in the way they are designed to be viewed in the PC. You can also zoom and pan a website using a single hand. It has a Windows Mobile 6.1 OS with a Qualcomm MSM7201A 528 MHz processor.
It also has an auto screen rotation feature which switches the screen to landscape mode when the phone is turned. It also includes a HTC-developed Youtube application for watching a variety of user generated video content. It also has five row, slide out QWERTY keyboard, built in TV Out functionality, a 2.8 inch VGA touch screen display, a 3.3 MP auto-focus camera, Wifi capabilities, Bluetooth and USB connectivity and GPS. It will be available around late summer. No details about the pricing has been announced yet but it sure is going to be expensive.
